When to use classified ads

Classified Ads are the traditional form of advertising your goods, interests or service. Classified Ads are ordered by categories, so naturally the first thing you will have to choose is the desired category you would like to place your classified ad into. Afterwards, you can enter the details of the ad, including pictures, description an location.

Classified Ads are, as soon as you start them, available to all other users within LocalAds, through the category listing and the search. Also, users can find your classified listing more easy by using the smart search oprtions like distance search or price filter.

Whenover somebody view your classified ad, he or she will be able to ask you a question or make an offer through LocalAds built in secure email system.

Stores
Stores are a specality in LocalAds. They hold an unlimited number of ads, mostly belonging to the same seller. Stores in LocalAds can have theri own URL, so users can access stores directly. A special type of store is the "Charity Shop", which is built for charities who want to have an online window for their goods.

When to use notice boards and notices

While classified ads help you to advertise your listing to as many people as possible, notice boards and notices work in a different direction.

Notice boards normally represent some kind of community, which may be a church, a club or a school. Members or people somehow affiliated to this community can now post notices on this board. Other than classified ads, these notices are aimed at other members of this club and are not included into the global search of LocalAds.

So, in order to find a notice that was posted, a user will have to enter the corresponding notice board first. You can imagine the notice boards as a modern form of a traditional blackboard, where people pin up their notes

Because notices are not meant to be advertisments, they do not include fields for quantity or price.
