The Baby and Parenting Show.The one stop for all your maternity and nursery needsThe Baby and Parenting Show is the East Midlandâs Premier Baby and Toddler Show, offering an informative and exciting fun day out whilst providing a one stop shop for all maternity, baby and family related products from over 70 exhibitors.This show is a must for all new and expectant parents, mums and dads, grandparents, toddlers, babies and childcare professionals, catering for newborn to primary school age, and is taking place at The Riverside Centre, Pride Park Derby on 13th and 14th April 2007.There will be expert advice and information available on all aspects of childbirth, pregnancy and childcare given by experienced professionals, including the NCT, and Meet the Midwives, to name but a few. The show also offers great shopping opportunities for maternity products and services, educational products, nursery goods, books, toys, clothes, and personal gifts along with lots of information about local services, activities and days out for you and the family.To keep the kids happy, we also have some entertainment for them lined up, including face painting and a bouncy castle, available throughout the two day event, and a Cafe offering light snacks and refreshments for all, including free baby food.Watch out for Joe Megabyte, the LocalKids mascot, who will be at the event, looking for new members, along with other familiar faces.If you can see your little one as the next âsupermodelâ we have a baby and child model competition open to both boys and girls to win a modelling contract with a leading Model Agency.Rainbows Hospice is the Baby and Parenting Showâs charity of choice, and they will be running a charity raffle to win some fabulous prizes, including a Nursing Glider Chair, donated by www.Fivethirtyfiveltd.com, with all proceeds to go to their charity. TThe Riverside Centre â venue for the showThe event is being held at the Riverside Centre, situated opposite Derby County Football Club and will be open from 10am â 5pm on Friday 13th April and Saturday 14th April 2007.The entrance charge will be £3.50 for adults, Children under 12 free.
